Man dies after crash on the way to work
A man lost control of his Jeep on the way to work early Sunday, crashed into a tree and was pronounced dead later at an area hospital, police said.
The crash happened on on Texas 183 at the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport entrance ramp at 100 International Parkway South where the man crashed into a tree at about 5:44 a.m., said Sgt. Steve Enright, a Fort Worth police spokesman.
David Mayo, 46, of Dallas was pronounced dead at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital H-E-B at 7 a.m., according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
His cause of death was not listed Sunday.
Police could not say whether Saturday night’s storms had any part in the crash. Fort Worth’s Traffic Investigation Unit is looking into the wreck, Enright said and the cause is still unknown, he said.
