Man arrested in fatal stabbings of two dogs in north Fort Worth
Police have arrested a man on an animal cruelty warrant in the fatal stabbings of two dogs in north Fort Worth this week.
Harrison Hilliard was taken into custody by officers about 1 p.m. Friday, according to a video tweeted by police.
The dog stabbings happened hours apart Tuesday in the 2100 block of Columbia Avenue and the 2100 block of Yale Street, off Roberts Cut Off Road, said officer Tracy Carter, police spokesman.
The dogs' owners reported each stabbing.
In the second stabbing, at a home on Yale Street, the dog's owner came home to find an unknown man in the backyard, Carter said. The suspect fled the scene.
Further details had not been released by Friday afternoon.
