Van driver killed after vehicle drifted into oncoming traffic on Fort Worth highway
A van driver was killed Wednesday night in a crash with a tractor-trailer on a Fort Worth highway, police said.
Tyler Blankenship, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office.
The wreck was reported shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday at U.S. 287 and Willow Springs Road.
Police reported a box van was traveling north on the highway when for some reason it drifted across a grass median and into oncoming traffic. The van was hit by a tractor-trailer, police said.
No other injuries were reported. No other details were immediately available.
