Construction workers find human bones in Forest Hill back yard, officials say
Bones found by construction workers Sunday are believed to be remains of an adult female, according to officials with the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office.
Beyond that, officials are not saying much about her identity.
"We are waiting for the report from the medical examiner's office," said Capt. Jerry Cozby, Forest Hill police. "Until then, we're tracking down leads. But investigations like this take time. It could be months."
The workers discovered the skeletal remains shortly before 5 p.m. in the back yard of a vacant residence in the 6400 block of Evonshire Drive and called police.
Investigators with the Forest Hill Police Department, the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety are working on the case.
