Santa Claus is coming to town.

On Nov. 24, in fact, he's heading to the north side of town for a Texas-style celebration.

He will make a grand arrival in his magical stagecoach — following the Fort Worth Herd on East Exchange Avenue — before arriving at Stockyards Station for the day.

After he arrives there around 11:45 a.m. or so, he will take pictures with good little boys and girls until 5 p.m.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Claus will read books during story time inside Stockyards Station, 140 E. Exchange Ave., at different times throughout the day.

Now, if that's not your style, you can listen to cowboy poetry on the laws of the Livestock Exchange Building at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. or 3 p.m.

Or you could attend the Fort Worth Herd Cow Camp from 1:30-2:30 p.m. or see Pawnee Bill's Wild West Show at 2:30 or 4:30 p.m.

Don't forget, The Legends of Texas re-enactment of gun fights can be found inside Stockyards Station at different times during the day. And if you stick around until 8 p.m., you can check out the Stockyards Championship Rodeo.

If that's too long to wait to see Santa, don't forget that he will be at the lighting ceremony of the big Christmas tree downtown around 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Sundance Square plaza.

Of course he will be around for photos at various sites for the next month or so.

And, as always, he will be back on Christmas Eve — in less than seven weeks — to deliver presents.
