Fort Worth’s Apple store has suddenly closed. Here’s why
Shoppers looking for a new iPhone X or any other Apple product were met with an unwanted surprise Friday at the University Park Village store.
A sign posted on the store’s front door says the store is closed.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will not be open for business today,” the message said. “We apologize for the inconvenience.”
Crews could be seen going in and out of the store.
A Fort Worth police officer posted outside the store informed customers that the store had experienced extensive flooding and would try to reopen early next week.
Apple consumers who couldn’t wait were told to visit the Apple Store at Southlake Town Square or to call Apple Care Support at 1-800-APL-CARE.
