Fort Worth prison worker who had sex with inmate is sentenced
A former prison worker who had sex with an inmate at Carswell Federal Medical Center Fort Worth has been sentenced to one year in prison, authorities announced Tuesday.
Matthew McGaugh, 49, of Hensley, Arkansas, pleaded guilty in July to one count of sexual abuse of a ward, according to court records.
McGaugh was working as a case manager in November 2016 when he engaged in "multiple sex acts," including oral sex, with the inmate, the records said. The inmate was under McGaugh's supervision at the time of the incident.
