Man found dead in south Fort Worth

Patrol officers found a man fatally shot Friday morning in a vehicle in front of a house in south Fort Worth, authorities reported.

The man was identified as Ronald Wyatt, 32, of Fort Worth, by the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office. The cause and manner of death were not listed.

One person was detained at the scene, and officers were not searching for other suspects, police said.

Patrol officers responded to a report of shots being fired shortly after 10 a.m. Friday in the 1400 block of Stafford Drive. Several witnesses were cooperating in the investigation, police said. — Domingo Ramirez Jr.
