Four Hood County teens arrested in sexual assault case

Three Hood County teenagers were in juvenile detention on Tuesday facing charges of aggravated sexual assault in a case involving a 12-year-old girl, authorities said.

A fourth teenager was in detention facing a charge of making alcohol available to minors, Hood County District Attorney Rob Christian said.

The arrests stemmed from an investigation by the Hood County crimes against children task force that started about March 1, Christian said. He declined to provide further information because of the ages of the girl and the suspects.

An adult was arrested Monday, accused of making alcohol available to minors. Angela Christian Stowe, 29, of Fort Worth, was in a Fort Worth jail Tuesday. The amount of bail was not posted. Her connection to the juvenile suspects could not be learned.
