A store security video released Thursday shows the moments a Chevy Avalanche plowed through a convenience store on East Lancaster Avenue, ultimately killing a mother of three.

Sonny Tanwar, whose family owns the Star Food Mart, provided the video to Star-Telegram news partner WFAA.

Police have said they suspect the driver, Isaac Adams, 19, was under the influence of drugs when he lost control of his SUV while going 80 to 100 mph Tuesday afternoon and crashed into the store at 1799 E. Lancaster Ave. at 1:35 p.m.

The video shows a woman at the counter interacting with a store clerk just before the crash. The woman, the clerk and three other patrons survived.

Sylvia Zazueta, 24, a customer whose three children and her mother were waiting in a car outside, was crushed by the SUV and later died at John Peter Smith Hospital.

She died of massive blunt force trama to the chest, abdomen, pelvis and lower extremities, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.

Adams can been seen in the video sitting and then walking on top of shards of glass covering the SUV.

He remained in Mansfield jail Thursday with bail set at $100,000 facing an intoxication manslaughter charge. — Monica S. Nagy
