Woman calls 911 to report she fatally stabbed husband near downtown Fort Worth
Officers found a man dead near downtown Fort Worth on Tuesday afternoon after a woman called 911 to report that she fatally stabbed her husband in the same area, police said.
Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of East 4th Street, a non-residential area near Interstate 35W on the east edge of downtown, about 1 p.m. They found the man dead in the area about 30 minutes later, and then took the woman who called 911 into custody, said officer Daniel Segura, police spokesman.
The woman had called 911 “reporting she killed her husband by stabbing him with a knife,” according to a police incident report.
Police were still investigating. Further details were not immediately available.
