Eastbound I30 closed for more than an hour in west Fort Worth
Eastbound lanes of the West Freeway were shut down for more than an hour Wednesday afternoon after a multivehicle collision about 3 p.m. near the Ridglea Avenue exit.
Two people were taken to hospitals with minor injuries, a MedStar spokesman said.
“Due to the complexity of the accident, there will be no details available until tomorrow, other than multiple cars were involved,” police Sgt. Steve Enright, a department spokesman, wrote in an email.
Commuters tweeted that traffic backed up for miles. — Monica S. Nagy
