Suspect surrenders after holding Fort Worth police at bay for hours

A suspect held police at bay for more than three hours Sunday morning before he surrendered without an incident.

Police did not identify the suspect.

Officers responded to a barricaded person call about 3:30 a.m. in the 1700 block of Morningside Drive.

SWAT members arrived a few minutes and remained at the scene until 7 a.m. when the man surrendered.

Police did not provide any other details on the call.
