Vandals paint graffiti at Fort Worth middle school

Police are investigating graffiti that was painted by vandals at Daggett Middle School.

Fort Worth police said the graffiti was reported by the campus principal March 2. The incident was caught on video, but the image is not clear and it is difficult to identify any suspects, said officer Tamara Pena, a police spokeswoman.

No other details were available Monday afternoon.

Clint Bond, a spokesman for the Fort Worth school district, said the graffiti was first noticed by a passing teacher, who alerted the principal.

Maintenance crews are working through spring break to remove the paint, Bond said.

“We don’t know yet when the damage originally happened,” Bond said.
