Toddler dies after falling off Fort Worth apartment balcony

A 2-year-old boy died Wednesday afternoon after he fell from a third-floor apartment balcony in far east Fort Worth, police said.
Prince Nyangenya was pronounced dead at a hospital at 5:14 p.m., according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
Officers were dispatched to the 13000 block of Tristan Lane, at the Post Oak East Apartments, about 4:30 p.m. on an injured-person call, said officer Tamara Valle, a police spokeswoman.
The officers found Nyangenya, who appeared to have fallen from a third-story balcony.
His parents were home at the time of the incident, Valle said.
Police were still investigating Wednesday night.
