Keene woman dies from injuries in Cleburne crash
A Keene motorist died Wednesday at a Fort Worth hospital from injuries she suffered in a Feb. 7 wreck on Business U.S. 67, police said.
The victim was identified as Alberta Bunnell, 78, who was pronounced dead at 6:26 p.m. Wednesday at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.
Three others injured in the crash suffered minor injuries.
Police responded to a major accident about 8 p.m. on Feb. 7 in the 2200 block of Business U.S. 67 (East Hendeson Street).
A Kia driven by Bunnell was exiting a driveway onto the highway and was hit by a Chevrolet van, police said.
A 78-year-old passenger in the Kia was taken to a local hospital. A 44-year-old Cleburne man who was the driver of the van and his 33-year-old passenger also were injured.
Authorities continued on Friday to investigate the wreck.
