Fort Worth school district will make on-the-spot job offers to nurses during hiring event

The Fort Worth school district will offer qualified nurses and health associates on-the-spot jobs during a hiring event on Friday.
The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at the district’s talent management offices, 100 N. University Drive. Qualified applicants are encouraged to apply by Wednesday, Nov. 30, at fwisd.org/careers to secure an interview time.
“Nurses and health associates play a key role in making sure students are healthy, safe, and ready to learn,” Raúl Peña, the district’s chief talent officer, said in a statement. “We are making on-the-spot offers to qualified health workers who are ready to join our team and make a difference in the life of a child.”
