Meet the academic all stars of the class of 2020 from Fort Worth area public schools
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram would like to honor the top academic performers of the class of 2020, which has faced unprecedented challenges due to the coronavirus.
Students from Fort Worth, Arlington and across the region have missed proms, sports seasons, traditional graduations and many other senior traditions.
But as you’ll see below, they have persevered and excelled.
The Star-Telegram provided public school systems in the Fort Worth area the opportunity to publish the names, photos and post-high-school plans of the valedictorians and salutatorians from each public high school. Valedictorians were offered the opportunity to share a brief message.
In some cases, schools or students did not respond to requests for information from the Star-Telegram or we were only able to obtain names of valedictorians or salutatorians. Those names are listed at the end of the presentation.
We encourage you to review the entire list. You will be inspired by their messages and plans for the future. From the Star-Telegram, congratulations to the class of 2020!
We had no response provided by Colleyville Heritage High School’s valedictorian Sarthak Sirotiya, iUniversity Prep’s valedictorian Kacie Gray and salutatorian Katelyn Scheimann, Haltom High School valedictorian Obed Gonzalez Hurtado and salutatorian Anthony Nguyen, and Richland High School valedictorian Jasper Bigdeli and salutaroian Tai Ha.
