Three restaurants fail, roaches found in six other Dallas inspections

Three Dallas restaurants failed inspection and roaches were found at six others, according to the city’s latest health inspection report.

The report contains city data from March 2 through March 15 and 378 inspections.

Dallas’ restaurant inspections function on a 100-point system. A score of 100 is considered to be very good and a score of 69 is considered failing, with a follow-up inspection required in 10 days or closure.

Three restaurants failed inspection:

  1. The Fivee Bistro & Bar, 1319 Botham Jean Blvd., had a score of 60
  2. Family Pizza & Pasta Italian Eatery, 12101 Greenville Ave., had a score of 63
  3. 3Eleven Kitchen & Cocktails, 311 North Market St., had a score of 66

Roaches were observed at the following six restaurants or kitchens:

  1. T.N.T. Sports Page, 14902 Preston Road, had a score of 70
  2. C & P Grocery, 6521 Jeane St., had a score of 72
  3. Lucky Rice, 1515 N Cockrell Hill Road, had a score of 75
  4. Holiday Inn Express & Suites, 1521 Inwood Road, had a score of 89
  5. Wal-Mart #2996, 18121 Marsh Lane, had a score of 90
  6. Embassy Suites-Dallas Market Center, 2727 N Stemmons Freeway, had a score of 92

16 restaurants scored between 70 and 79 in this round of inspections, meaning they will require a re-inspection within 30 days.

Six restaurants underwent follow-up inspections.

No restaurants scored under 60 in this set of inspections.
