Three men arrested in death of constable’s son, Irving police say

Irving police have arrested three men who they say fatally shot the son of a Dallas County constable in February, according to a statement.

Police arrested 26-year-old Deandre Rashaun Williams on March 12 and recovered a firearm they think was used in the slaying, officials said.

The next day, police arrested 25-year-old Roderick Wayne Dansby and 24-year-old Kendrick Kavon Perry, according to the statement.

The victim, 37-year-old Torrance Deveroex, was shot and killed at his Irving home at around 5 a.m. Feb. 23, according to KDFW-TV.

The three men allegedly shot through Deveroex’s door before fleeing the area in a vehicle, according to KDFW.

Deveroex was the son of Dallas County Constable Deanna Hammond, according to KDFW.
