Pedestrian killed after being struck by a vehicle on I-30 in Dallas
A pedestrian attempting to cross the roadway was struck and killed on Interstate 30 near downtown Dallas on Monday, Nov. 18.
According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office two westbound lanes of traffic were blocked on I-30 at I-35E after the accident around 6:15 a.m. The lanes are now open.
The driver who struck the victim remained at the scene and is cooperating in the investigation and no charges are pending at this time, officials said.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the person who died.
