Two restaurants failed, and several places had re-inspections in the latest Dallas health inspections, according to city data.

There were 175 inspections from March 10 to March 23.

Dallas inspections are based on a 100-point system. A score that fit in the range of 90-100 is considered to be very good and the next inspection for that establishment is the regular six-month inspection. Scores of 80-89 are considered good with the same next six-month inspection window. Scores of 70-79 are passing but require re-inspection within 30 days. Scores of 60-69 are failing and require follow-up inspection within 10 days or closure. Anything under 60 is unacceptable and requires closure and inspection before reopening.

Two restaurants failed in the recent inspection period:

  • Me & Mom’s Diner at 5057 Singleton Blvd., with a score of 67
  • La Campina Salvadorena at 2947 South Buckner Blvd., 68

A dead insect was observed in the water where meat was thawing in at Me & Mom’s Diner.

Here are the inspection scores and violations for restaurants within the city limits of Dallas for March 10th - March 23rd, 2023. A score of 100 is a perfect score and 70 is considered to be extremely poor. Scores below 80 require a re-inspection, and below 60 require closure and inspection before reopening.
