One restaurant was closed, four failed, and rat droppings and roaches were seen in the latest Dallas inspections, according to city data.

There were 430 inspections from Dec. 15 to Jan. 14.

Dallas inspections are based on a 100-point system. A score of 90-100 is considered to be very good and the next inspection is the regular six-month inspection. Scores from 60-69 are failing and require either closure or follow-up inspection within 10 days. Scores under 60 are unacceptable and require closure and inspection before reopening.

Ropicana Neveria Y Taqueria at 12917 Juniper Road received an 89. The owner voluntarily closed the restaurant due to no hot water.
