Officers found the body of 66-year-old Janet Childs after responding to a call Sunday, police said. The release did not give the location where her body was found.

The case is being investigated as an unexplained death, police said.

On Saturday, the Dallas Police Department asked for the public’s help in the search for Childs. She had last been seen around 12 p.m. Saturday in the 9000 block of Tampas Lane in Dallas. She left the area on foot, police said.
