Deaths ruled murder-suicide after man, woman found shot in Dallas County home
A man and a woman were found dead in a home Saturday after a call was made about shots fired, the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
In an update Wednesday, the sheriff’s office said its investigators and the medical examiner’s office concluded the deaths were a murder-suicide. The victim was identified as Nancy Gonzales, 29, and the suspect was identified as Christian Lopez Ibarra, 33.
At around 6:20 a.m. Saturday, Dallas County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the shooting in the 10000 block of Beckleyview Avenue.
Upon arrival, deputies entered the residence and found the victim and suspect dead.
Deputies said that there was no immediate threat to the neighborhood as it appeared to be an isolated incident.
