Missing 72-year-old Dallas woman found safe, officials say
A 72-year-old woman who went missing in east Dallas was found safe, police said Saturday morning.
Gerry Samples disappeared Friday around 7 p.m. while walking in the 2600 block of John West Road. Dallas police asked for the public’s help finding her, saying she may be confused and in need of assistance.
Samples is a Black woman, about 5-foot-2, weighing around 120 pounds with black and gray hair and black eyes. She was wearing a blue shirt and black pants when she disappeared Friday night, officials said.
Anyone with information about Samples’ whereabouts was asked to call the Dallas Police Department at 214-671-4268 or 911.
