Dallas police investigate death of an unknown woman near the Trinity River bridge

Dallas police are asking for the public’s help after the death of a woman whose body was found near the Trinity River was ruled a homicide Monday.

Police were dispatched around 9:10 p.m. Saturday to a field near the 800 block of Brazos Street after a 911 call reported human remains in the area, according to a Dallas police blog post.

The woman’s identity is unknown and the investigation is ongoing, the blog post said.
