Silver Alert canceled for elderly man from Dallas
A Silver Alert issued by the Dallas Police Department Thursday evening for a missing 86-year-old man was canceled a few hours later.
Bobby Rodgers was located and is safe, police said. The alert was canceled shortly before midnight.
Rodgers was diagnosed with a cognitive impairment, and officials believed his disappearance posed a credible threat to his health and safety..
He had last been seen around 1:45 p.m. Thursday in the 2300 block of Morrell Avenue.
