A hen and her 11 ducklings received a police escort across a busy highway in Richardson.
In a video posted on a Dallas Reddit forum, a Richardson policeman is seen guarding the duck as she leads her flock across the south bound access road on Central Expressway near Dumont Drive.
The ducks make it safely to the grass, but not before the last duckling struggled to hop the curb. It falls onto its back but quickly makes it up and back with the brood as the officer keeps traffic at bay. Momma even stops to let the last duckling catch up to the group.
The video was posted early Tuesday morning and started going viral when it was posted on social media.
