Two Dallas firefighters were hospitalized Thursday night after responding to a fire at a senior living facility in the far east part of town, Star-Telegram media partner WFAA reported.

About 120 firefighters responded to the blaze that broke out around 6:30 p.m. at Lakeland Hills Senior Living in the 3300 block of Dilido Road and were still battling as of 9 p.m., WFAA reported.

The department did not specify what injuries the two firefighters sustained but said they were not life-threatening, according to WFAA.

WFAA reported that crews responding saw smoke coming from the second floor of the three-story building.

A property manager told WFAA there were no reports of injured residents, who were being taken to a Red Cross shelter or leaving with family members.
