Authorities upgraded the case as critical because of the freezing weather and the child’s clothing as he was wearing just socks and shorts.

Dallas police identified the boy as Traveon Michael Allen Griffin, who was last seen about 12:01 a.m. Thursday in the 5900 block of Naravista Drive in Dallas.

He is described as Black, about 4-foot-11 and 72 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing white socks, black shorts and no shirt or shoes.

Anyone with information should call 911 or Dallas police at 214-671-4268.
