Man attacked while leaving Richardson mosque

Beefed-up security was spotted outside the Islamic Association of North Texas in Richardson Tuesday morning.

A man was attacked outside the mosque, located at 840 Abrams Road, Monday night after leaving evening prayer at about 10:15 p.m. Richardson police say two men pushed him to the ground and beat him in the parking lot.

Others leaving evening prayer quickly came to his rescue, and the two suspects ran off. No words were exchanged and the suspects didn't steal anything. Read more at WFAA.com.
