Two people were shot Tuesday when an argument spilled out into the patio at a Pappadeaux restaurant.

The argument started inside the restaurant, but police say one man involved pulled a gun on two others as they came outside. The restaurant is near the intersection of U.S. 67 and South Cockrell Hill Road.

The restaurant became a crowded crime scene when the shots rang out during a Fat Tuesday celebration. Police responded just after 9:47 p.m.

Two shooting victims were taken to Methodist Central Hospital and both were in stable condition Tuesday morning, said Duncanville Police officer Doug Sisk. One had been shot multiple times.

"This appears to stem from a domestic situation, and is still an ongoing investigation," Sisk said.

One suspect, a black male fled the scene in an unknown vehicle with a female.

Witness accounts on social media showed blood inside the restaurant, though.

"Blood all thru the front are of the bar at Pappadeaux in Duncanville," Dallas resident Summer Galvez said on Twitter shortly after the shooting.

In her account of the aftermath, she also said one of the victims was shot in the back of the head.

Police are asking anyone who was at the restaurant who may have information on the car the suspect drove, or any other information, to call the Duncanville Police Department at 972-707-3831.
