Goodell expected to testify in Super Bowl seating trial
Seven irate fans are suing the NFL after they didn't get the seats they were promised and paid for during Super Bowl XLV at what was called Cowboys Stadium in 2011.
"This all happened because of ego, greed and gross incompetence" by the NFL, the plaintiff's attorney told the jury in opening arguments, adding: "[At the] center of it all were [Cowboys owner] Jerry Jones and [NFL commissioner] Roger Goodell."
Goodell has been called to testify in the case in Dallas on Tuesday. Read WFAA.com’s report.
