Man shot, wounded at Fort Worth barbershop
A man who had been warned to stay out of a barbershop on Altamesa Boulevard in far south Fort Worth was shot and wounded Tuesday afternoon by an employee, police said.
The employee was arrested, and the wounded man was taken to a hospital. His injury was not life-threatening, police said.
The names of the two were not released.
The shooting occurred shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday at LT’z Barber Shop, 3504 Altamesa Blvd.
The man had received a criminal trespass warning barring him for the shop, but he entered anyway, police Sgt. Steve Enright said in an email Tuesday.
The employee and the man argued, and the employee pulled out a handgun and shot him, police said. No one else was injured.
