Driver falls into river in fatal wreck
A driver died after hitting a guardrail and falling into a riverbed early Saturday.
Fort Worth police responded to a vehicle wreck at about 3 a.m. Saturday south of Trinity Boulevard and just north of the entrance ramp to northbound Loop 820 from Randol Mill Road.
Police reported that witnesses said the vehicle struck the guardrail, and drive onto and over the bridge. When officials got to the vehicle the driver was dead.
The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office will identify the driver and cause of death.
