A Hurst mall employee is accused of hiding a camera in an Aeropostale dressing room and recording patrons as they changed clothes, police said Thursday.

Caleb Leonard, 23, was arrested and charged with invasive visual recording and tampering with physical evidence.

Police received an initial call for service to the Aeropostale store in Northeast Mall on April 24, where they met with two girls who had discovered the small hidden camera in the dressing room, according to a statement. The girls took the camera, left the store and contacted police.

Detectives took the camera and reviewed it to find invasive images and identify Leonard as the suspect. Leonard was placed on administrative leave at the time of the initial report and was arrested without incident at his residence Thursday morning.
