None of the people whom police detained after they ran from officers investigating a triple shooting on Saturday night at a party at an event center in Everman has yet been alleged to have engaged in an offense or delinquent conduct in the case.

Several people of interest were held at the shooting scene, but none were transferred to Tarrant County juvenile justice system authorities, according to Everman Police Department Chief Al Brooks.

The shooting investigation, underway by Everman police and Texas Rangers, is active, Brooks said on Tuesday.

The three shootings victims, who are teenagers, survived. They were shot about 10:30 p.m at a small event venue in the 1800 block of Everman Parkway.

Officers identified a suspect vehicle and after a short foot pursuit detained several people of interest and recovered multiple firearms. Most of the people who were detained are juveniles.
