Grapevine police have arrested three people they say are responsible for hundreds of vehicle burglaries and multiple ATM thefts around the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Aaron Alex, 26, of Dallas; Bronya Freeman, 24, of Dallas; and Jay Jones, 28, of Lancaster, were arrested March 22 after a five-month-long investigation, police said.

Alex, Freeman and Jones face multiple charges including engaging in organized criminal activity, burglary of vehicles and burglary of buildings, according to online jail records.

The charges originate from Grapevine, Euless, Denton, White Settlement and Grand Prairie, according to the jail records. Authorities said the Dallas Police Department, Bedford Police Department, Euless Police Department and agents with the Texas Department of Public Safety also were involved in the investigation.

Following the men’s arrests, investigators recovered stolen vehicles, guns and “large amounts” of narcotics and cash, Grapevine police said in a Facebook post.

All three men are being held in the Tarrant County Jail.
