Attempted robbery victim shoots suspect in east Fort Worth, police say

A man was shot late Wednesday by one of several people he tried to rob in east Fort Worth, according to a WFAA-TV report that cited a police account.

Police officers found the man who was shot after they were called about 11 p.m. to an apartment complex in the 6000 block of White Dove Drive by a person who reported the injury.

The man who was shot was taken to a hospital. A Fort Worth police spokesperson did not release the man’s condition.

The attempted robbery suspect and victim exchanged gunfire, according to the WFAA report.
