Man ‘unresponsive’ after shooting near the Stockyards in Fort Worth, police say

A man was shot on Monday afternoon during an argument near the Stockyards in north Fort Worth, police said.

The victim, who is 20, according to a police record, was fired upon about 12:45 p.m. near Northwest 24th Street and Clinton Avenue.

The victim was taken to a hospital and was unresponsive, according to a Fort Worth police spokesperson.

The shooting occurred during an argument among the victim and a male and female, police said.

Officers were at midday canvassing the area, looking for the two assailants.
