A 30-year-old man is recovering from surgery in a hospital after he was shot at an apartment complex in the 400 block of Park Row Drive in Arlington Sunday night.

According to the Arlington Police Department, when officers arrived in the apartment complex parking lot at 10:55 p.m., they found the man with a gunshot wound.

Witnesses told police that they saw the victim walk up to a car in the parking lot, and the driver got out of the car, showed a gun, and fired a shot. The shooter then got back in the car and drove off, police said in a news release.

Police said their investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made. While the motive is still unclear, police don’t believe this was a random shooting.
