A suspect is in custody after a brief standoff involving SWAT units Tuesday afternoon, officials with the Fort Worth Police Department said.

Officers in the department’s northwest division stopped a stolen vehicle in the 6000 block of Parkview Hills Lane at around 1:02 p.m., a police spokesperson said.

The suspect did not comply with officers’ commands to exit the vehicle and began acting erratically, police said. Multiple units responded, including SWAT units.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident, officials said.
