Fort Worth police investigate shooting near business on Hattie Street

Fort Worth police are investigating a shooting late Wednesday morning near a business on Hattie Street.

Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of East Hattie Street in response to a 911 call reporting the shooting about 11:30 a.m., according to a Fort Worth police call log.

The 911 caller reported a man was shot near a business. Officers found the victim at the scene, according to a police spokesperson.

The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition but is expected to survive.

The shooter fled the scene, but officers are aware of the suspect’s information, police say.
