Fort Worth police ask for public’s help identifying driver in fatal hit-and-run

Fort Worth police are asking for the public’s help identifying the driver who fatally hit a pedestrian Saturday morning and left the scene.

Officers were called to the 1500 block of Saginaw Boulevard around 5:50 a.m. after someone reported seeing an unconscious person in the road. The man was already dead by the time first responders arrived, police said.

Police think the victim was either carrying or riding a skateboard along the shoulder of the road when he was hit. No description was given of a suspect car.

Anyone with information about the fatal hit-and-run accident is asked to call detectives at 817-392-4892.

The victim will be identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
