One person was critically injured in a hit-and-run accident in west Fort Worth late Friday, officials said, and a suspect is in custody.

Officers were called to the intersection of Clifford Street and Western Trade Drive shortly after 11 p.m. They found a pedestrian who’d been struck by a vehicle.

The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition, police said. The Traffic Investigations Unit has been notified.

David Hall was booked into the Fort Worth City Jail on Saturday in connection with the accident. The 36-year-old faces a charge of collision involving serious bodily injury, according to police records.
