1 seriously injured after being shot through wall in south Fort Worth home
One person was seriously injured after bullets came through the wall of a south Fort Worth home early Friday, May 16, police said.
Officers responded to the 6400 block of Shasta Trail about 2:10 a.m. after someone reported their grandmother had been shot, according to the 911 call sheet.
The officers were told someone walking between the injured person’s house and the neighboring one had fired the shots, police said. The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
The injured person was taken to a hospital in serious condition, according to MedStar.
The Gang Unit will investigate the shooting, police said, and detectives from the Gun Violence Unit were notified. No arrests have been announced.
