Man accused of stabbing his grandfather to death at North Texas home, police say
A suspect was arrested in Cleburne after he stabbed and killed his 69-year-old grandfather, police said.
Cleburne police and firefighters responded to a home in the 300 block of Huron Street about 8:40 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19. A woman called 911 and reported her grandson had killed her husband, police said in a news release.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Arthur Lee Jarmon.
The suspect was identified as Antron Rayquon Bell, 23, of Cleburne. Bell fled the residence before officers’ arrival, police said.
Officers were able to find the vehicle Bell was driving with the help of the Flock license-plate reader camera system, and took him into custody, police said.
Bell has been arrested and faces a murder charge. He is awaiting arraignment, police said.
Police said this is an ongoing investigation and there are no other suspects in relation to this case.
