Three people were arrested on Tuesday, Dec. 3, after an attempted robbery of a home in North Richland Hills, police said in a news release.

Officers responded to the 5300 block of Tiffin Drive, just east of Davis Boulevard, after a caller reported a burglary in progress. The woman stated that three men broke into the residence and injured her husband, police said.

A North Richland Hills K-9 unit and Fort Worth Police Department’s Air One helicopter were utilized to quickly establish a perimeter in the area to locate the suspects, police said.

All three suspects were arrested and two firearms were recovered. The victim was treated for his injuries on scene by North Richland Hills Fire Department, police said.

“Further investigation revealed that this was a targeted act,” police said. “There is no indication of an ongoing threat to the community.”

The suspects have not been identified as of now.
