Man injured during fight Thursday, suspect in custody, Fort Worth police say

A man was injured during a fight Thursday morning and a suspect is in custody, Fort Worth police said.

According to the 911 call sheet, officers responded to E. Lancaster Avenue and I.M. Terrell Way around 8:20 a.m. after someone reported two men were fighting. One of them appeared to have a knife, the caller said.

The victim was cut on his chest, head and arm, police said. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was taken into custody, according to police.
